Nominate a Local Hero for a Countertop Makeover
Eastern Surfaces Summer Countertop Makeover Sweepstakes [OFFICIAL RULES]
The entire Eastern Surfaces team thanks all who have been helping and serving tirelessly on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. To spotlight our local heroes and give back to those who have sacrificed their time and health for the greater community, we are hosting a Sweepstakes for one winner to receive a free countertop makeover.
One local hero (within 45 miles of Eastern Surfaces Allentown, PA location) will receive up to 45 square feet of their choice of select materials, as well as templating, fabrication and installation services (details below).
The Sweepstakes will run through the summer, June 1 – August 31, 2020, and the winner will be announced in September.
NOMINATE A LOCAL HERO
Anyone that has been or is currently working in an occupation on the front lines of this pandemic is eligible for nomination. This includes but is not limited to:
- Healthcare professionals
- Grocery and retail workers
- Sanitation workers
- Warehouse workers and truckers
- Food suppliers
- Foodbank workers
- Police and military
- Teachers
HOW TO ENTER
A family member or friend can make the nomination on the hero’s behalf from June 1 – August 31, 2020.
To qualify for the Sweepstakes, please post on Facebook the following:
- In 150 words or less, describe who the hero is and a little about their story during the pandemic, including name, city and occupation, and why their countertops need to be updated
- Pictures of existing countertops (or a 1-minute video).
- The official Sweepstakes flyer (you can save from this page or screenshot from our social media)
- Be sure to tag @Eastern Surfaces and include the hashtag #NominateAHeroES so we are notified of your submission
HOW TO WIN
After you submit on Facebook, our Eastern Surfaces Facebook profile will repost the submission if it meets all of the above criteria. We will send you a private message if your submission does not meet criteria.
Every “like” and “comment” on the reposted version of your submission counts as an additional submission. At the end of the Sweepstakes, we will randomly pick a winner. Be sure to get your friends and family to “like” and “comment” on your submission on our Facebook page for a greater chance of winning!

SWEEPSTAKES RULES & EXCEPTIONS
- Nominated hero must be within 45-miles of Eastern Surfaces’ Allentown, PA location
- Submission must be via Facebook, tag the Eastern Surfaces profile (https://www.facebook.com/eastern.surfaces) and include the Sweepstakes hashtag #NominateAHeroES
- Anyone submitting a nomination gives Eastern Surfaces permission to use the content of the original submission on our social media, website and other promotional platform.
- The winner gives Eastern Surfaces permission to post before/after pictures of countertops and story on our social media, website and other promotional platforms.
- Timeframe: June 1 – August 31, 2020. Winner will be announced in September.
- Prize to be redeemed before December 31, 2020:
– Choice of select granite and/or quartz materials (up to 45 square feet)
– Choice of standard edge treatments
– Choice of Eastern Surfaces’ in-house 18-gauge stainless steel sinks
– Eastern Surfaces will template, fabricate and install winner’s choice of select countertop material. Removal of an existing laminate top is included.
– Plumbing or electrical services are not included
– Faucet not included
