Counter Top Installer

Eastern Surfaces, a leader in the countertop market, is looking to add installation techs to our growing team. We currently have openings for all level of installers from apprentice candidates to experienced professionals. Previous experience in countertop installation or in the construction industry is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate. At Eastern Surfaces, we produce high-end custom countertops that are installed by our teams in homes and businesses throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities

Load jobs for the day.
Drive the company truck to job sites.
Work with co-workers, utilizing lift aids, to install beautiful countertops.
Obtain customer signatures of completion on computer generated forms.
Communicate job details back to the office.

Qualifications, Qualities the Successful Candidate Will Possess

Ability and willingness to learn best-in-class installation skills
Acquire and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending required meetings and engaging in provided training
Work well with others in a team environment
Conduct yourself professionally when dealing with customers and fellow employees
Maintain a professional appearance.
Ability to read and use a tape measure
Familiarity with the operation and use of small power tools.
Comfortable with using your hands to assemble and make repairs
Work extended hours as needed to complete installations
Ability to handle heavy materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle. Work clean and clean up thoroughly in customers’ homes.

Essential Skills

Quality focused
Effective communication skills, bilingual in Spanish a plus

Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment physical
Vocational training and/or construction experience is preferred.
